Consulting Services

Investigation and research regarding the IT (information Technology) for the proposed client. This should include but not be limited to the following:
  • A list of various options available to the client with specifications.
  • Operational Aspects that will affect the smooth operation of the network.

Investigation and research regarding the Communications Infrastructure for the proposed client. This should include but not be limited to the following:
  • A list of various options with regards to any telecoms or voice services available to the client including specifications.
  • Any Operational considerations that may affect the provision of these services.

Project Management

SADV will provide project management in implementing the various services we offer including the consultation and co ordination with the various service providers on the project including Architects, Electrical Engineers, Civil Engineers and any other consultants that may be involved on the project.

Specification & Designs

SADV will provide the Final designs & specifications with full working drawings and other related documentation suitable for implementing the services required or for obtaining tenders for the works or sub-sections of the work as may be required.

Cost Estimates

SADV will compile and co ordinate the following:

Costs Estimates for the following:
  • Infrastructure acquisition & installation.
  • Operational costs for the client.
  • Operational costs for the end-user.

Consultant Fees:
  • Project Management by SADV.
  • Sub-Consultants.

Tenders

  • Assist in Finalizing Sub-Contractor tenders and adjudication
  • SLA requirements

Turnkey Services and Solutions Portfolio

SADV can provide Turnkey solutions and services to its customers.
Our services would not only include the initial consultation, design and deployment of the infrastructure, but the management and operation of the services to the customer once deployed.
SA Digital Villages will provide the customer with a full end to end solution including the following:
  1. Consultation – We will consult with the customer to define the services required.
  2. Design – We will design the network required to provide these services.
  3. Implementation – We will supply and implement the network required.
  4. Operation – We will provide and operate the services required by the customer.

 

As mentioned above, the term generally used for the services we supply is “Triple Play” which includes Voice, Video, Data and Security Services.

Voice in terms of “Triple Play” could be defined as the provision of Communications services including Telephony services internally as well as to the outside world.

Video in terms of “Triple Play” could be defined as the provision regular TV Signal distribution including HD TV or High Definition TV, IP TV meaning Digital TV signal distribution which will be available in South Africa in 2010, optional Video on Demand or VOD giving the End User the ability to view their own choice of movies on demand.

Data in terms of “Triple Play” is defined as the provision of a data network for the provision of Internet services as well as a host of IT related content and services to the customer.

SA Digital Villages will take ownership of the project from end to end, getting involved with the project management and co-ordination of the various items including the Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Architects, Telecoms Providers, Security planning, Design and Implementation.

Once the project has been completed, we could provide a portal through which our various services are provided. This provides a secure logon for each user giving them access to the particular services they require.

We then have a comprehensive billing platform which manages the customer’s usage and billing on a monthly basis, also allowing for self-provisioning and self-care.

We believe that we provide a unique solution to our clients whereby we provide an end to end solution for the provision of infrastructure and services required, thereby removing the need for the client to make specialised technology decisions and then to have to coordinate and project manage the implementation of these services.
